After watching the "Ecology of the Mind" video, I connected most with the tribe and the way they live. Everything seemed a lot more simple then now and it was amazing to see how close they were with nature. "The land is the mother to all of the U.S, how would you feel if your mother was cut up in front of you," was a quote that stuck with me. It kind of showed me that nowadays we are taking our mother nature for granted and that the tribe that was documented in this film seemed to actually respect mother nature. I also really connected with the fact that everything is ALWAYS changing. I can definitely relate my life currently to this since it is my first semester of college and really away from my family for the first time. I can tell that everything does change and it changes very often. I think this relates back to us taking mother nature for granted because nature is always changing and we as a society need to learn new ways to treat and act around nature.
